Burger Prep & Cook:

  • Using a knife or a brush, spread softened butter onto your burger buns & set aside. With a knife, shred lettuce to your liking. Next, slice your tomato to about ¼ inch thickness. Using a knife or a mandoline, slice a red onion into thin rings. Tip: If you soak your onions in ice water they’ll stay super crispy. Just be sure to drain out of water when they are to your liking.
  • In a large bowl, add ground lamb & beef. Sprinkle smoked paprika over top, and mix until incorporated. Portion meat into 4 Oz patties and place to the side. Now add the buns to your grill or pan. Make sure the temperature is not too hot. While your bun is toasting you can start seasoning your burger with salt, & additional smoked paprika. Keep an eye on your buns to make sure they’re not burning. Once your buns are golden brown, take off the heat & set aside. Now you can turn your grill up to medium-high (375 – 400 F.) Add your burgers to the grill or pan. Sear burgers on one side for about 2 minutes or until you obtain a golden brown sear. Flip your burger for about 1 minute or until your burger 130 F (rare) – 150 F (medium well.)
  • Lightly spread yogurt to both top & bottom of your toasted bun. Add a juicy burger to the bottom bun. Add a slice of seasoned tomato, pickled jalapeños, shaved red onion & shredded lettuce on top. Add a light dusting of smoked paprika. Now lightly place your beautifully toasted sesame seed bun on top.
  • Grab a drink, napkin & enjoy!
